How to find the right Team Network team for your business, your location and your week.
Team Network runs teams across three main service areas. Montgomery County has Bethesda Rockville Rainmakers and Crown Area Connectors. Frederick County has Frederick Area Network and Key Network Frederick. Northern Virginia has five teams covering Tysons, Reston, Fairfax, Alexandria and the Dulles corridor, plus Baltimore Impact Partners in Maryland.
Start with geography and timing rather than availability. Pick the team closest to where you actually work and whose meeting day and time you can commit to every week or fortnight. Consistency is what produces referrals, so a slightly less convenient team you will actually attend beats a closer one you will not.
Categories are held per team, not across the whole network, so a category taken on one team is often open on another nearby. In Northern Virginia especially, with six teams in the region, there is usually an alternative within a reasonable drive. Call 301-260-0060 and we will check availability for you.
Yes. Guests are welcome at any team where their category is not already represented, and visiting is free. Seeing two or three rooms before committing is a sensible way to work out which group of people you would actually enjoy building relationships with over the next few years.
Most do both. The usual pattern is an in-person meeting in the team territory during the first week of each month, then online meetings for the remaining weeks, often in a multi-team format that puts you in front of members from beyond your own group. A few teams run entirely online.
Request an invite through the website or call 301-260-0060. You will be told the next meeting date and format for the team you are interested in, and which business categories are currently open on it. Meeting patterns do change, so confirming before you travel is worth the phone call.
